Townparks Nova Sport won the Best Modified Car 2009, at the Modified Car And Rally Show which was held at the kings Hall, Belfast in October.

Steve Graham took our Sales Manager Martin Elliott a run in his Astra 888 diesel on the shakedown stage of the Ulster Rally in Antrim.

Congratulations to Steve and Tony Graham who won the 2009 diesel cup category in the British Rally Championship.

SATURDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2008

The Townparks Stages rally was a close run through the stages, Derek McGarrity won by 14 seconds, Connor McCloskey 2nd and a further 5 seconds behind Sean Devine took 3rd.
Cahal Rodgers and his son Eioghan had a great run in their Lancer and won Group N.
Wesley Patterson and co driver Martin McGarrity pulled out all the stops to put up the best 2 wheel drive performance in their Escort.

Joe Calzaghe has been awarded Sports Personality of the Year for 2008.

Joe visited Townparks when he was last in Northern Ireland for his fight against Belfast's Brian Magee, back in March 2005.

March 2007 - Martin Elliott was presented with an award by Raymond Gauhl of Network Q for the Network Q Regional Winner for 2006,q-dos quantity standard assessment.

Carolyn Elliott presents Ryan Orr Junior Sports Person Of The Year Award.
Ryan is a member of the Old Bleach Cycling Club in Randalstown.  Ryan has gained an all-Ireland medal and an Ulster medal this year.  Ryan has racked up numerous 1st and 2nd place results and even gives many of the senior riders a race for there money!  Aged at just 10 Ryan has a very bright future ahead of him.

Team Townparks ready for action in the fifth Annual Viking Boat Race at Lough Shore Park, Antrim.  The Viking Boat Chanllenge was a huge success, Antrim Borough Council, were delighted that so many locals and visitors attended the event in aid of Action MS.

Then head to the Antrim Lough Shore Park where you can cheer on 'Team Townparks' who are competing in the Viking Challenge to support Action MS in replica Viking longboats, ten metres in length and crewed by two 21st century Vikings and ten oarsmen.  Each team will race against the clock and the winners will be decided in a knockout.  The Lough Shore  will be a hive of activity that day with a range of entertainment for all the family.  

February 2007- Robert Elliott- Along with his sales team at Townparks, were presented with a certificate and a case of champagne to celebrate achieving a regional excellence award for number one market share in Northern Ireland for 2006.

March 2007 - Crumlin squash star Chris OKane receives his award for Junior Sports Performer of the year from Robert Elliott.

Robert Elliott, Managing Director of Townparks Car Sales, presented Francey OHara with his retirement gift, thanking him for his loyalty to the family and his contribution to the company over the years.

Francey O'Hara joined the company in 1973 and helped Robert grow the business, as his Parts and Service Manager.  Francey retired in September 2006 after a successful 33 years with Townparks.

Kevin Wale, Vice President of General Motors Europe and Chairman of Vauxhall Motors and Gordon Hannen, Business Development Manager were delighted to visit Townparks Car Sales spacious showroom located on the Ballymena Road, Antrim in May 2005. They congratulated Robert Elliott-Retailer Operator, and Carolyn Elliott-General Manger of Townparks Car Sales on becoming one of the first Northern Ireland Vauxhall Retailer to complete Vauxhalls new corporate image.
