It has been a difficult decision, but in the interests of our customers and staff, we will be suspending our business operations from today, Monday 23 March 2020.

STAY AT HOME has been the advice we have all been given.

In the interests of our customers and staff welfare and safety we are considering suspending our business operation.

We realise that buying a car is not essential and routine servicing, in these circumstances, can be put off to a later date.

However, we do realise that in some cases replacing a car or repairing one is necessary.

We plan to open in the morning for appointments and to make arrangements to suspend business.

At Townparks the welfare and safety of our customers and staff is always our priority.

In line with official guidance, we are continuing to operate our Car Sales and Service Centre. However, the sales team will only be available to appointments on late nights. We are taking every precaution to keep high standards of cleanliness.

For customers that are vulnerable and may need maintenance carried out to their cars, we would like to be able to help, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Both our Service Centre and Car Sales teams are taking extra precautions to follow strict hygiene routines.

:: Guidelines for visiting Townparks ::

If YOU have any symptoms such as a high temperature or persistent cough please do not visit.

For the welfare and safety of our customers and staff please follow these guidelines:

  • Keep a safe distance of at least 1 meter between people
  • If you wish to wash your hands, please feel free to use our hand wash facilities
  • Only one person is allowed in an office with our staff member (safe distance)
  • Only one person is allowed on a test drive (safe distance)
  • Gloves will be provided for test drives
  • Please avoid paying in cash
  • Handshakes will not be permitted at this time

If your car is in the service centre, we will do the following:

  • Key is sanitised on arrival
  • Steering wheels and gear sticks are cleaned
  • Seat covers are used
  • Technicians working at each car will wear new protective gloves
  • Please avoid paying in cash where possible
  • Card payment is available – with the keypad being cleaned after each use
  • Courtesy cars have had touch points cleaned after each customer

While in our wait area

  • Keep a safe distance of a least 1 meter between people
  • Sorry all reading material has been removed
  • Clean cups are provided for refreshments

If you prefer not to visit, we can offer the following services:

  • Vehicle collection and delivery service for our service customers within a 10 miles radius – providing our working circumstances allow.
  • Invoices can be paid over the phone or by bank transfer.
  • Customers interested in purchasing vehicle can view our stock at
  • Customers interested in viewing or purchasing a vehicle can be provided with a bespoke video.
  • Customers purchasing a vehicle can have it delivered – providing our working circumstances allow.
  • Customers wishing to arrange finance on their new car can follow the link on our website to apply for finance.
  • Late nights will be by appointment only and will allow customers the space to social distance if they wish.

We will continually monitor the situation and adapt to support customers and staff. We encourage you to reach out to us for assistance.
